Dr. Sharon Cushman, Ph. D.
Dr. Sharon Cushman holds a PhD in Psychology from the California
School of Professional Psychology. She has worked in hospitals, outpatient
clinics, and juvenile court and was an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University,
Irvine, CA. Dr. Cushman holds a certificate from the APA in the
treatment of alcohol and other substance use disorders. She is also certified in
Hypnosis and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
She completed her pre and post doctorate at the Stanford Psychiatry Outpatient
Department.
With over 20 years of experience, Sharon's style is warm and compassionate. She
is down to earth, bringing humor and real life experience to the work of therapy.
She specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, relationship
problems, addictions, adult children of alcoholics (ACA) and chronic pain.
